End of a busy week of customer service

Who said customer service was easy? Shoot them! I spend all week with my team responding to customer service issues for Australia's biggest online retailer. How lucky am I !

We have the best bosses, the best people to work with and I have the best team of CS reps in the world! We all get on so well. We band together to do our jobs to the best of our ability.

When we vent, do we vent! You have to when you are dealing with the public. 95% are wonderful but there are some people out there where the level of upset goes way beyond the issue at hand.

You will never ever please everyone. The customer is not always right, but the customer has the right to be treated with respect and empathy no matter the situation.

So as I wind down on a winter Friday evening with a glass ( or a few glasses) of chardy, I might turn on the footy later on and celebrate the fact I don't have any markets tomorrow so get a really rare sleep in. I usually wake at 7 anyway but will lay there for a bit because I can.

Sunday, we are going to hit the city ( sydney harbour) for a bit of a pub crawl around the rocks and a few drinks, nice lunch and marvel at our wonderful Sydney Harbour. I never ever ever get sick of watching the water, its my most favourite thing to do.
